Shubham represents Berkeley for ARVO’s Advocacy Day in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC

On January 25th, 2024, postdoc Dr. Shubham Maurya represented Berkeley at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology’s (ARVO) Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.

Dr. Maurya met with the office bearers of Sen. Laphonza Butler, Sen. Alex Padilla, Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Barbara Lee, and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, to represent researchers in vision science and advocate for federal funding to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Eye Institute (NEI)! Learn more here!
